I am 30 years old, single and have no children. I do own a single animal and it is clear that I am a bizarre animal guy. I have nothing to care for and mess around with other than my cat. He is super spoiled and I have catered everything to him. I have a large home with nothing to fill it, so my animal now has his own room. He has a queen sized bed with the best pillows money can buy. I also got him a plush rug he can kneed and play around on. There are more than 2 shelves, animal trees and scratch posts in the room. I have his food and water bowl in the living room so the two of us can eat together and his litter box in a separate section so he doesn’t have to eat or play near it. The weirdest thing is that I set my Heating and Air Conditioning unit according to him. He’s wearing a fur coat! I have to set the control unit a little different. In the Winter I don’t crank the heat to where he gets warm, just a nice gentle warmth. I also have the bed right underneath the ductwork so the heat directly blows on him. In the Summer I go a little colder than comfortable due to my animal being covered in hair; Can you imagine trying to deal with Summer heat wearing a fur coat? The awful thing! I try to encourage play and outdoor time, but funny enough he does not want it. My animal appreciates eating, snacking and sleeping all day now. I have made it too comfortable for him.
