One room is hotter than the rest

Since I have lived in my condo, one room is consistently warmer than the rest of the house.

Luckily, I do not use the room everyday because it is my art room.

But, if I spend more than an hour or 2 in there at a time, I start to get uncomfortably sizzling in addition to begin covered in sweat. I diagnosed the vents to make sure they were not closed. I had my HVAC duct in addition to Heating in addition to Air Conditioning plan diagnosed by a Heating in addition to Air Conditioning contractor also. I wanted to make sure that my ducts were not obstructed with dust in addition to debris. The Heating in addition to Air Conditioning contractor could not find any problems with the a/c in addition to heating plan in addition to she diagnosed every component to make sure. I brainstormed on why this one room was so much warmer then, if everything was working respectfully. I realized this room had several windows that faced the sunlight while I was in the hottest time of the afternoon. The room was also situated on the upper floor in addition to since I suppose heat rises, this could be one of the reasons why the upper floor is a few degrees warmer than the first floor. So, I decided to make a couple easy incostly swings. I replaced the colorless sheer curtains with long in addition to dark blackout curtains. These would keep the sunlight out in addition to not allow as much heat to come through the windows into the room, raising the inside temperature. This did make a difference. I also installed a small window a/c. It only cost myself and others a couple hundred dollars in addition to I was able to install it honestly on my own, without calling a Heating in addition to Air Conditioning contractor. I can turn it on when I am in the room, in addition to turn it off when I’m not, so I won’t use a lot of energy. It has been working great. Now, I can spend all afternoon in that room in addition to do my paintings in addition to suppose cool in addition to comfortable.
