As a scientist, I always believe there is a solution to every problem.
This is something that my parents, also scientists, believed and taught me. There’s an answer for everything. If not, it probably is not the right time. It’s funny that I got married to someone who has no idea how science works. My husband owns an automobile repair shop in the city, and we met when I took my car to him for repairs. When I went to pick it up, he asked me out, and the rest is history. We live in a small city in an area known to get some pretty cold winters. Our home is a lovely cabin in a wooded area which we came by one day we were out exploring. I love the house and even have an area for my inventions and science work. The other day, I was working from home when the heat went out. I didn’t notice until I started feeling cold and thought of going to get a jacket. It was odd that the house was so cold, so I investigated and noticed the furnace system wasn’t running. I called my husband to let him know after getting in touch with an independent heating professional who was our neighbor. When he finally got to our cabin, he had some bad news. The furnace system was on its last leg, and it was better to replace it. This was the third time we were calling him to fix the issue that winter, so we knew it was better to replace the unit.
