I got one of those fake miniature fireplaces for looks, because the truth is, I do not need it for warmth
I’m a simple woman and I do not need much to get by. I do not need a big, overpriced venue to live, that is for sure, and the only thing I care about is comfort! My new home is just large enough to be comfortable for me and our little pet. I have a family room, a dinette, a small living room, a family room, a lavatory, and a small balcony with a charming view of the city. However, the most important thing for our own personal comfort is an effective air conditioner and heater. I would trade at least a fifth of our living space as long as it meant that I could have the temperature that I want on the thermostat. A/C repair is taken care of as part of our rent, and I am easily glad that our property owner takes great care of our air conditioning equipment. If there’s some sort of breakdown, officially within 24 hours, it’s fixed. I just love being on our couch in the cool breezy air coming from our vents in the summer. I end up falling asleep for a quick nap so genuinely that way. Similarly, in the winter, our little new home is nice and toasty. I got one of those fake miniature fireplaces for looks, because the truth is, I do not need it for warmth. On winter days, I’m snug as a bug in a rug, that is for sure. I almost wonder why our rent isn’t higher, considering the excellent temperature control afforded me in our glad little abode. Should I be paying less rent for the size of our living space? Probably, but I’m just so comfortable!
