Last night I spent the evening drumming on the beach with a couple of friends and I met a few other musicians who wanted to perform. One of the musicians is a flutist and is really good at playing it and I told him to come join us Wednesday when we play on the paseo. We will have two drummers, a keyboardist, a flutist, and a singer so it should be a fun time playing that night. I’ve never played with a flutist so this is going to be fun and educational for me. The local business where we play in front of told us that they will buy us all drinks after we finish to thank us for drawing the crowds and giving them business. My HVAC rep is going to come by and sing some as he has been a singer for 25 years now and is quite good. I am going to record the whole set with my Zoom mic and if we have some good songs I will upload them online so that we can get it out to the world. I have a good editing program and can master the sound so it is even richer. The heating and cooling specialist who works with me showed me how to edit and master sound tracks so that they are professional sounding. I can do it for free with my own editing software that he told me about and we can also make some money selling them online. I need to practice a bit more before Wednesday with drumming.
