We’ve been battling the cops and the locals who don’t like us playing music in the streets.
- It is a constant fight to play in the streets in front of the crowds.
On one hand you have the people watching who really love our music, and on the other hand you have the angry people who call the cops as soon as they hear a note being played. We just want to practice somewhere, and playing in the street is a great way to get in front of an audience for feedback, but if the local business owners call the cops each time we start to play then it defeats the purpose. We will figure this out, but in the meantime we need a place to practice. I guess the HVAC business has a room we could play in, but there wouldn’t be anyone there to watch us except for some heating and cooling equipment techs. Maybe we could play there at night when the streets are empty just to get in some practice. I will talk with the local contractor and ask her if she knows of any climate controlled rooms where we could practice that might have some people there. I guess we could go to another town and play there a couple times a week, unless the people in that town call the cops in the blink of an eye like they do here. My new contractor friend is going to give us a space heater to use for when we play in the winter on the streets.
