What are friends for? Someone may ask! Well, I recently realized that I have genuine friends who look out for me.
It all started when we visited the mall and came across a flyer that mentioned a local contractor was hoping to offer free a/c service to a needy person or family so long as the HVAC equipment has not been serviced for over a year and it is one of the mentioned HVAC brands on the list they provided.
My friends were saying I deserve that because I have been lamenting about not being able to service my AC for the longest time to a point they weren’t interested in hearing anything more about air conditioning. So one of them took the details of the cooling and heating company advertising the offer and promised to enroll me for consideration. I didn’t think much of it, but since they have been avoiding my place because of the poor temperature control, I hoped for a miracle. Weeks went by and one day someone called me and introduced himself as an a/c professional who got my application. He briefed me on how they came to find my contact and requested that I avail myself for a/c tune up and basic servicing. I was elated beyond words and thanked my friends so much. A week later they sent over someone, I thought it would be the same person from the company but they sent a new contractor instead. It was a joint exercise with another company that sells new air conditioning. So the professional verified my identity and details then serviced my ductless HVAC and checked my ductwork before offering me energy saving tips once he was done.
