]Is it funny that when my air conditioner gave out on me last week, my primary concern was my gaming PC? That may seem kind of silly, but it’s true.
Computers need a room that has good air conditioning in order to function well.
Of course, I make sure that my PC has fully functional fans and liquid cooling going on for it, but it still generates a lot of heat, and I can swear that the cold of an air conditioned room actually increases its performance! As an avid PC gamer, I am looking for any way to increase my performance, and I can swear that my PC just hates it when my room is hot. Well, I ended up using some extra fans in the room while the air conditioning system was getting repaired that week. Apparently there was something wrong with the evaporator coils. Namely, they were filthy. Well, I didn’t know anything about that. My landlord is supposed to take care of the more technical aspects of air conditioner maintenance. I just changed the air filters. At least he’s giving me a credit to my account for the inconvenience. Well actually, he’s just shaving a little bit off the next month’s rent. I don’t much like the prospect of eventually having to care for my own heating and air conditioning system. I’ll make sure that I get a good HVAC technician to work with and pay them good money so that I don’t even have to think about it! I and my PC demand it!
